Gucci Mane was arrested on Friday on a misdemeanor battery charge from an incident in January in which the rapper allegedly pushed a woman out a moving car. According to police, Gucci picked up a woman at a mall near Atlanta, invited her to breakfast and attempted to give her $150 in exchange for her accompanying him to a hotel room. When she refused, he threw her out of his vehicle.

In addition to the battery charge, Gucci Mane will also be charged with violating his probation. The rapper has had several run-ins with the law since being released from an Atlanta prison after serving six months of a one-year sentence for violating probation on an assault charge. In November he was arrested for driving erratically and attacking a man, and he was detained during a raid of fellow emcee Waka Flocka Flame's home in December.
