"We started writing the song almost six years ago on a Wurlitzer when we were 20. We came back to it three years ago, thought of Fad Gadget, poured heavy modular synths over it, and hit a wall. And last year, while finishing our upcoming album, Escape Yourself, we looked at it again," Footprintz's Clarian North tells Rolling Stone. "I don't think we'll ever say its 100% finished, its interesting to us, as it sounds more like a log entry of feelings and ideas of the past six years than a coherent track."
