The Foo Fighters are previewing their still-untitled upcoming album with a 30 second clip of its opening track "Bridge Burning" on their website. The song opens with a razor-sharp riff and pummeling percussion before Dave Grohl belts out the opening line — "THESE ARE MY FAMOUS LAST WORDS!" — before cutting out abruptly. It certainly leaves you wanting more.

This is the first taste of the band's seventh album, which Grohl recorded with Butch Vig, the producer of Nirvana's Nevermind. The record is as close to a Nirvana reunion as it gets — in addition to Vig behind the boards, Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic has contributed bass and accordion to one track and Nirvana touring guitarist Pat Smear has rejoined the Foos as a permanent member.
