David Bowie, 'The Next Day'

David Bowie's new album The Next Day is now streaming on iTunes. The stream will be up until the album's release on March 12th. Have a listen to the record that Rolling Stone's Rob Sheffield calls "a triumphant album" and "the comeback Bowie fans feared would never happen."

Bowie surprised fans on January 8th, his 66th birthday, by releasing a video of "Where Are We Now?" The song and video were unexpected announcements for The Next Day, his first album since 2003's Reality. He had been slowly working on the record in secret for two years, spending no more than a few weeks recording and subsequently taking off as much as two months in between sessions. Bowie will also release his latest single, "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)," along with "Where Are We Now?" as a special white vinyl seven-inch for Record Store Day on April 20th.
