The memorial service for Backroad Anthem lead singer Craig Strickland will be held Tuesday, January 12th in Rogers, Arkansas and will be streamed live.

The singer's widow Helen Strickland announced Thursday via Instagram that the service will take place at the Cross Church Pinnacle Hills Campus in Rogers, at 6:00 p.m. with the live webcast available here

The memorial announcement began with a quote from author C.S. Lewis: "It is not what we intend our lives to be, but what He intends for our lives" and concluded with Helen Strickland writing, "I love you all, thank you for loving my husband."

The 29-year-old vocalist's body was found Monday, January 4th near Kaw Lake, Oklahoma following his disappearance while duck hunting. In a December 28th, Facebook post, the band said no one had made contact with Strickland and friend Chase Morland since they'd headed into Winter Storm Goliath on their hunting trip. Morland's body was found December 28th.

Backroad Anthem first formed in 2012 when Strickland joined church acquaintances Toby Freeman, Eric Dysart, Josh Bryant, Brandon Robold and Isaac Sentry. A popular act in the south, the group opened shows for artists such as Dustin Lynch and Eli Young Band, among others. The group recently released the EP Torn and honored Strickland with the video for the title track.
