Courtney Love's attorneys at the firm Pryor Cashman are hoping to withdraw their counsel following what they call a "complete breakdown" in communication with their client, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Love hired the firm to defend her after one of her previous lawyers, Rhonda Holmes, claimed Love defamed her on Twitter by suggesting she was "bought off."

In a declaration submitted in Los Angeles Superior Court, Pryor Cashman partner James Janowitz wrote, "Ms. Love is completely unresponsive to Pryor Cashman's attempts to contact her. She has cancelled meetings with me with barely any notice on several occasions and has refused to return the calls of other attorneys on her legal team at the firm."

What's more, the firm is claiming that Love is in breach of her fee agreements and while payment has been demanded, Love has yet to do so.

Back in January, Pryor Cashman helped Love win a dispute over whether she would be evicted from her West Village townhouse.

“Oh Sherrie”

Steve Perry | 1984

Steve Perry's girlfriend Sherrie Swafford was actually in the studio when Perry began writing this song--his lone Top Ten hit as a solo act--with two co-writers. The trio began at midnight one night with just "Oh, Sherrie!" and "hold on, hold on." Three hours later, they had a complete song. Swafford, however, had to wait until the next day to hear it. "Sherrie actually got tired and went to bed," Perry said. She also appeared in the video, but their relationship did not hold on for long.
