Courtney Love joined former Hole bandmates Eric Erlandson, Melissa auf der Maur and Patty Schemel on stage in Brooklyn last night, the Village Voice reports, marking the first time the classic mid-Nineties Hole lineup has played together in 15 years.

The band had gathered together at Public Assembly in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, at the afterparty for the release of  Hit So Hard, a documentary about drummer Schemel. Auf der Maur, Schemel and Erlandson had also performed together last weekend after a screening of the film and a reading from Erlandson's new memoir Letters to Kurt. The three were billed to perform at the afterparty as Trinity Jam and were joined by Love for two songs.

Erlandson had recently said in an interview with Rolling Stone that despite the tensions and frustrations over the years, he was not ruling out a reunion with Courtney Love.

"I never say never," he says. "I don’t know what’s going to happen to her. I don’t know what’s going to happen to me. I like things to be open."

The reunited Hole played "Miss World" off the 1994 album Live Through This, as well as the Wipers' "Over the Edge."
