Chief Keef was arrested earlier this week in Atlanta for disorderly conduct, just two months after his release from custody. The 17-year-old Chicago rapper – real name Keith Farrelle Cozart – was taken into custody yesterday and booked one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. According to The Chicago Tribune, he was released around 3:20 a.m. today. Further details of the arrest were not available.

Chief Keef in Jail for Violating Probation

Chief Keef had completed a 60-day sentence in March in connection with his conviction on a weapons charge. The rapper was originally sentenced to 18 months of probation in January 2012 for pointing a gun at Chicago police officers, but a court ruled he violated the terms of his probation by shooting a gun during a video interview with Pitchfork last summer at a New York gun range.
