Britney Spears is counting the seconds until September 17th – literally. The singer today posted a countdown clock on her website, accompanied by the words "All Eyes on Me," which is likely the title of her next single.

Britney Spears Shows Her Sporty Side

Last week Spears responded to a fan on Twitter inquiring about when the pop princess would be releasing new music. "Patient kiddies! It's coming MUCH sooner than you think ;)," she posted.

Few details have been released about Spears' eighth studio album other than that will.i.am is producing it. The pair collaborated earlier this year on his single "Scream & Shout." Earlier this summer, Spears released "Ooh La La" as part of the Smurfs 2 movie soundtrack.

“Vans”

The Pack | 2006

Berkeley, California rappers the Pack made their footwear choice clear in 2006 with the song "Vans." The track caught the attention of Too $hort, who signed them to his imprint. MTV refused to play the video for the song, though, claiming it was essentially a commercial for the product. Rapper Lil' B disagreed. "I didn’t know nobody [at] Vans," he said. "I was just a rapper who wore Vans." Even without MTV's support, Lil' B recognized the impact of the track. "God blessed me with such a revolutionary song… People around my age know who really started a lot of the dressing people are into now."
