Are the Beatles Finally Coming to "Rock Band"?

October 29, 2008 5:36 PM ET

Tomorrow morning, MTV plans to announce an exclusive agreement with Apple Corps. regarding a "unprecedented global music project." Since the network is unlikely to be running any Beatles programming in the near future, could this be the rumored arrival of the Beatles on the MTV Games-produced Rock Band games? If it's true, will it be a stand-alone version of the game or a series of downloads? Tune in tomorrow for the official announcement, but now's the time to make your fantasy playlists in the comments.

“Oh Sherrie”

Steve Perry | 1984

Steve Perry's girlfriend Sherrie Swafford was actually in the studio when Perry began writing this song--his lone Top Ten hit as a solo act--with two co-writers. The trio began at midnight one night with just "Oh, Sherrie!" and "hold on, hold on." Three hours later, they had a complete song. Swafford, however, had to wait until the next day to hear it. "Sherrie actually got tired and went to bed," Perry said. She also appeared in the video, but their relationship did not hold on for long.
