There have been 25 members of the Steve Miller Band during the past five decades, but the Space Cowboy will stand at the podium all by himself at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony this year. Watch the video above to find out more.

Steve Miller has played with 25 members over the past five decades under the moniker Steve Miller Band, which he launched in 1966, after moving from Chicago to San Francisco. But this year he's being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as himself. "I think that's probably the right choice," he told Rolling Stone about the decision. Currently, Miller has been working on the board of Jazz at Lincoln Center, where he's helping the organization begin a blues program, and he's also helping the Metropolitan Museum of Art update its musical instruments gallery. But over the years, he's had quite a lot of unusual experiences. Watch the video above to find out more about the Space Cowboy, including some members of the Band over the years you might not recall.
