Artist: Kid Koala
Song: "3 Bit Blues"
Album: 12 Bit Blues
"I decided to use this iconic hip hop production tool to make a blues record. I just punched everything in by hand for the duration of the track. The turntables were all layered in afterwards," Eric San a.k.a. Kid Koala tells Rolling Stone. "I wanted to make a track that felt like driving from the desert to the Delta... complete with rattle snake rattles scratched through oil can delays. It drifts but I like it. I swear there are ghosts in all of those old machines."
