Funky horns and a guitar scratching James Brown-like licks are habitually Drew Baldridge's co-stars when he hits the stage. The country-music newcomer also needs plenty of room up front to show off his dance moves. For his forthcoming debut album, Dirt On Us, the lanky Illinoisian wrote uptempo songs with his live performance in mind. His single debut, "Dance With Ya," along with "Train," "Everyday Light" and "Everywhere I Go," were built to accommodate instrumental breakdown sections where Baldridge can flaunt his love for Michael Jackson and Earth, Wind & Fire.
