Sharon Van Etten
Brooklyn's Sharon Van Etten will provide a folksy counterbalance to the hard rock assault of Friday night's headlining set from Black Sabbath. The Bon Iver labelmate arrives with a bevy of sinewy, swooping tales on bad relationships, the best of which are featured on her most recent album, Tramp – one of Rolling Stone's favorite albums of the year so far. Van Etten's set, while perhaps better suited for a coffeehouse confessional than a midday mega-festival melee, nonetheless promises to offer an intimate distraction from the surrounding mayhem.
