Video: The Sheepdogs Get 'Laid Back' at Spotify House

The Sheepdogs performed a rendition of their new song "Laid Back" on the back porch of the Spotify house yesterday. The title of the tune was very apt for its mood and the setting, which frontman Ewan Currie says reflects the philosophy of both his band, and the city of Austin, Texas. "It's nice to just kinda chill and see people having a good time, having a beer and listening to music," says Currie. Video: Yellow Ostrich Rock the Spotify House

New York City indie rockers Yellow Ostrich played a rousing version of their song "The Shakedown" on the porch of the Spotify House in Austin yesterday. After the set, frontman Alex Schaaf said that the set was a good way of easing his band into the hectic scene at SXSW. "We were on a porch with people out there, and people wanted an encore," says Schaaf. "It was real strange, but we did it."
