Video: St. Lucia Perform 'Closer Than This' at Spotify House

Brooklyn-based electro-pop group St. Lucia recently performed a sunny version of their catchy track "Closer Than This" at the Spotify House in Austin. They recall of the show, "We've done a couple of acoustic recordings but not in front of an audience, so this was quite nerve-wracking." The smaller, more intimate setting of the Spotify House allowed the band to "have the whole soundscape of somebody's voice and all of those voices together as one unit," they say. | More »

Montreal indie band Patrick Watson performed this rendition of their song "Adventures in Your Own Backyard" in the living room at the Spotify House in Austin last weekend. Before the set, frontman Patrick Watson mused on his favorite contemporary songwriters. "Grizzly Bear and Beirut, those are things that are around us, that are of our generation," he said. Iceland indie sextet Of Monsters and Men performed a brief set, including this performance of their tune "Dirty Paws," in the backyard at the Spotify House in Austin this weekend.
