Readers' Rock List: Radio Songs

Last week, following the announcement of Apple's new iPad, we asked our readers to focus on that primitive contraption called the "radio" by telling us their favorite radio-related songs. We tallied the votes, and it was Bruce Springsteen's Grammy-winning Magic "Radio Nowhere" that edged out tracks by Rush, Ramones and a pair of R.E.M. songs:

1. Bruce Springsteen - "Radio Nowhere"
2. R.E.M. - "Radio Free Europe"
3. Rush - "The Spirit Of Radio"
4. Queen - "Radio Ga Ga"
5. Elvis Costello - "Radio, Radio"
6. The Ramones - "Do You Remember Rock n' Roll Radio?"
7. R.E.M. - "Radio Song"
8. Rage Against The Machine - "Guerilla Radio"
9. Wilco - "Radio Cure"
10. The Clash - "This Is Radio Clash"
11. Nirvana - "Radio Friendly Unit Shifter"
12. Tom Petty - "The Last DJ"
13. The Buggles - "Video Killed The Radio Star"
14. Wall of Voodoo - "Mexican Radio"
15. Donna Summer - "On the Radio"
