Flashback: Pavement Kill Lollapalooza in 1995

Tickets for Pavement's reunion show at New York's Central Park on September 21, 2010 went on pre-sale this morning and demand was so huge, second and third gigs were added after tickets were gobbled up in mere seconds.

Apparently, New York treats the band much better than West Virginia, where Pavement had a little altercation with fans at Lollapalooza 1995. This week's Flashback relives that mud-tossing moment from Pavement's Slow Century documentary.

Bonus Flashback: Malkmus, Spiral Stairs and the rest of Pavement rock Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain's "Stop Breathin' " in Germany in 1994. And for more on the Pavement reunion, be sure to check out Rolling Stone's exclusive interview with Scott "Spiral Stairs" Kannberg.
