Mavis Staples Loves the 'Flower Children' of Bonnaroo

"I had a wonderful time here at Bonnaroo, the audience was just so receptive and so responsive and had me wanting to go on and on and on," soul legend Mavis Staples told Rolling Stone backstage at the festival. "Bonnaroo reminds me of back in the day, the folk festivals," she says. "All of these kids look like flower children to me because everything's so colorful and they seem so pure and innocent. They might not be, but to me they seem like good kids."
