Massive Attack's soundtrack for Jet Li's martial-arts thriller proves how time, imitation, attrition and stasis have dulled England's trip-hop innovators. Fifteen years ago, this murky instrumental score would've been revolutionary. Now its predictable blend of orchestration and electronics gets the cinematic job done but rarely makes for engaging home listening.
