At a Comic-Con panel on Saturday, True Blood showrunner Brian Buckner revealed that instead of adding even more new creatures and storylines to the series in its seventh season, he'll be bringing the show back to its roots to focus more on the action between humans and vampires in Bon Temps.

"I feel like this show is ultimately about the relationship between vampires and humans, and it’s about this town. I want to bring it in a little bit. I feel like at times we’ve hurt ourselves," Bucker said.

The panel also presented a teaser trailer for the remaining Season Six episodes, which shows the tension between Sookie and Warlow ratcheting up, as well as a series of ominous experiments at Vamp Camp.

"Death ain't the end anymore," Sookie says in the trailer. "Death is just a pit stop that keeps on going, with no end in sight."
