Jeff Daniels Talks Cable News and Aaron Sorkin's Writing Talents

Hotshot anchor Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels) is under heat from network executives for a comment made equating the Tea Party to the American Taliban, which has since found its way to Washington. Meanwhile, Sloan Sabbith (Olivia Munn) finds herself in the midst of a potential sex scandal when alleged naked pictures of her surface and are threatened to be exposed.

Jim (John Gallagher Jr.) opts to follow Mitt Romney's campaign trail in an effort to escape the inter-office love triangle he's in with Maggie (Allison Pill) and Don (Thomas Sadowski), which suggests that the 2012 presidential election will serve as the real-life backdrop for the drama in its second season.
