This week, everyone's eyes are on The Watch – with a star-studded cast of Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade, plus a Seth Rogen-penned script that's been tweaked following the Trayvon Martin shooting, attention is high around the flick. But with the heavy Costco camera time, rearranged plot and an alien invasion premise that's immediately revealed, Peter Travers says the film falls flat behind its silliness.
"It could have been Ghostbusters lite, but this movie settles for just being stupid," notes Travers. "The script must've been written in all caps, because EVERYBODY SHOUTS!"
Does The Watch come up as short as Travers says? Let him know below in the comments, on Twitter, or via e-mail.
