In the upcoming film People Like Us, Chris Pine plays Sam, a mid-twenties salesman who must sort out his deceased father's estate while somehow mending bridges with his estranged family. But Sam has an older sister, Frankie (played by Elizabeth Banks), he's never met. Reconnecting with his family will force Sam to rethink his life and loved ones.
Sam's father was a successful music producer, but due to his job, Sam wasn't able to be as close with him as he wished. In this preview clip, Sam and his girlfriend Hannah (Olivia Wilde) visit his father's record collection – Sam's inheritance. Though Hannah hopes to find fatherly love in the belongings, Sam instead tells her his only happy memory with his father – the time he discovered Kajagoogoo.
People Like Us, which also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Mark Duplass and Jon Favreau, is set for a June 29th release.
