Paul Banks Plays to Empty Room on 'Letterman'
'Late Show' tapes with no studio audience during Hurricane Sandy

As the maxim states, the show must go on, and Interpol's Paul Banks' braved Hurricane Sandy last night to perform "Young Again" to a mostly empty room on the Late Show with David Letterman, which taped without a studio audience. An upbeat track rife with somber undertones from his new solo album Banks, the singer's performance took on an added bit of eerie cool in the otherwise still Ed Sullivan Theater.
