Prometheus, the movie that may or may not be the prequel to Ridley Scott's classic Alien, is fascinating and gorgeous. Peter Travers was especially impressed by Michael Fassbender, who delivers one of the best performances of the year so far as the sinister android David. The film may not measure up to Scott's original Alien, but it delivers in terms of suspense and luxuriously crafted visuals.
