Matt Damon Launches Bathroom Strike for Clean Water with Bono, Olivia Wilde
Actor and friends lead health awareness campaign

Matt Damon took quite a pledge in February: Until everyone has access to clean water and sanitation, he's promised not to use the bathroom. Damon's semi-serious Toilet Strike is meant to raise awareness of a very real public health crisis. A staggering 780 million people across the world – one ninth of the global population – still lack access to safe water and adequate sanitation.

Damon has been joined by a few friends on his quest, as you can see in this exclusive clip. Bono, Virgin chairman Richard Branson and actress Olivia Wilde have all lent their support to the Toilet Strike in a show of unity. "I remember when Matt first brought up the idea – it was a meeting of the Illuminati," quips Bono in the clip. Adds Wilde, "I only got in because I'm an android from the future."
