HBO released a promo for the next Louis C.K. standup special yesterday, which simultaneously mocks and makes use of all the thundering hype clichés of the genre. Oh My God, which will premiere on April 13th, was recorded during C.K.'s recent U.S. tour, and is directed by the comedian. And as C.K. so eloquently puts it in the promo, his fourth hour-long special for HBO is shaping up to be "the greatest comedy of a generation of blah-blah ever to do a thing on a thing."
