After months of teasing, Lindsay Lohan finally made her cameo appearance in the HBO comedy Eastbound and Down. The actress (spoilers ahead) appeared briefly in the series finale last night, playing an adult version of Kenny Powers' daughter.

This probably wasn't the cameo most fans expected. Lohan popped up during the episode's bizarre fantasy sequence coda in which the former baseball player Powers (Danny McBride) ruminated on the rest of his future and his legacy.

"If a man doesn't have a dream, then guess what – his soul begins to die," Powers narrated over various pop songs and African percussion. "In the end, you judge a man by how he influenced the world. You judge him by the seeds he left behind – and you judge the seeds by the harvest. Kenny Powers' harvest remains unknown, but I'm pretty goddamn proud of the seeds."

Though she didn't speak a single line of dialogue, Lohan was featured several times throughout the strangely emotional sequence. She got married, embraced her father after his stint in rehab and (in the distant future) sprinked his ashes into the wind after visiting an African village.

Last month, Lohan made a different kind of guest appearance, talking about her love of Los Angeles in Thirty Seconds to Mars' video for "City of Angels." Meanwhile, McBride (a standout in this summer's This Is the End) recently signed on for a part in Cameron Crowe's new film, which began production this fall.
