Judd Apatow 'Simpsons' Script Getting Made After 22 Years
Director wrote spec for animated show as his first project
November 21, 2012 10:50 AM
Judd Apatow stopped by Conan O'Brien's web series Serious Jibber-Jabber and revealed that The Simpsons will make an episode written by him. But it's not a fresh script - Apatow originally penned the spec as his first project as a comedy writer 22 years ago. The story involves Homer undergoing hypnosis to believe he's Bart's age, but he then becomes Bart's best friend. Though it never surfaced, Apatow says the Simpsons team caught wind of the script, and now they're making it into a proper episode next year. It's nice to know you've made it.
