Comedian Holly Laurent of the famed Second City improv group tackled two of pop culture's most relevant topics in her latest video, "Lana Del Rey's 'Hunger Games.'" Laurent rewrites the lyrics to Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" from the perspective of Katniss of the Hunger Games trilogy, and includes gems such as "this district smells like rat piss / My name is Katniss / I play the Hunger Games," and "a pita is a pouch of bread but that's his name" about her fellow Tribute in the Games, Peeta. Laurent's video is as ethereal as the Lana Del Rey original with grainy footage from the film, but the combination of Hunger Games and Lana Del Rey is the perfect pop culture sweet spot.
