Harrison Ford Teases 'Star Wars' on 'Leno'
Han Solo cheekily avoids the question of whether he'll return in 'Episode VII'

Last night on The Tonight Show, Harrison Ford had some choice words for Jay Leno about whether he'd appear in the upcoming Star Wars reboot – though it may help if you can read lips. Ford cheekily avoided the question, flashing a grin and mouthing what ultimately looks like a bit of mumbo jumbo.

While Ford may have stayed mum last night, he's been a bit more chatty on the subject of reprising his role of Han Solo in the highly anticipated Episode VII, set for a 2015 release. "I think it's almost true. I'm looking forward to it," Ford said back in March about a possible Star Wars reunion. "It's not in the bag yet, but I think it's happening."

Decoding the Latest 'Star Wars' Casting Rumors

News of Ford's possible involvement in the franchise reboot broke back in February, and soon after Mark Hamill said he was also in talks to return as Luke Skywalker, and Carrie Fisher confirmed she would be back as Princess Leia. (In fact, creator George Lucas has said that Hamill, Fisher and even Ford had all essentially agreed to return before Disney bought Lucasfilm last fall.)

In other news from the galaxy far, far away, ABC (which is owned by Disney) has been considering the possibility of a Star Wars TV show based on characters from the franchise, and it was recently confirmed that Academy Award-winning composer John Williams would also return to score the new installment.

Back in September, Episode VII director J.J. Abrams spoke of the challenges he knew he'd face trying to do justice to the beloved series. "We all know that [Lucas'] dream has become almost a religion to some people," Abrams said. "I remember reading a thing somewhere, someone wrote about just wanting [the new film] to feel real, to feel authentic. I remember I felt that way when I was 11 years old when I saw the first one. As much of a fairy tale as it was, it felt real. And to me, that is exactly right."
