In Trouble With The Curve, Clint Eastwood plays Gus, an aging baseball scout who takes his daughter Nicky (Amy Adams) on his last scouting trip. Eastwood stays gruff and fiery, and as he explores his relationship with his daughter, reconnects with the idea of fatherhood and the game of baseball. Justin Timberlake also stars as Johnny, another baseball scout who has history with Gus and hopes to date Nicky. Despite baseball as a central theme, the emotions here are intense and universal.
