How is it tonight?
It's pretty freaking surreal, man: my first movie, my first premiere, being around all these people. . . it's very humbling. Everyone's asking me, "You're born in 1990, how the hell do you know all these songs?" My parents mostly listened to Eighties bands, so growing up I'd listen to Queen, the Police, U2, and as I grew older I'd listen to more Eighties bands. Before I even auditioned for the movie, I knew every song.

Tell me about your album.
I'm working on my third album. Adam Levine signed me to his label and we're working together to find the right songs. Hopefully it'll come out later this year.

Who would you like to work with?
Ryan Tedder. I'd love to write with Adam, with Greg Wells [Adele, Katy Perry] and just cowrite and listen to songs.
