Wyclef Jean will join ABC's country music drama Nashville for a recurring role as a the head of a record label, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jean also tweeted a picture alongside cast members Sam Palladio, Clare Bowen, Jonathan Jackson and Rya Kihlstedt. Though he'll appear in multiple episodes, there's no word yet on when Jean's character will debut.

Nashville follows Connie Britton as Rayna James, an aging country star who's asked to play nice with the rising young singer Juliette Barnes, played by Hayden Panettiere, after her latest record fails to meet the expectations of her record label's owners.
