Parks and Recreation character Andy Dwyer may need to reconnect with his MouseRat bandmates, because another legendary Pawnee band might be reuniting. Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy will appear on the show, according to Entertainment Weekly, in a music-themed episode about a band that may or may not reunite set to air this spring.

Where Did Wilco's 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot' Rank Among the 100 Best Albums of the 2000s?

"He plays the former lead singer of a band called Land Ho! — complete with exclamation point; Tweedy's pitch — that was very popular in Indiana a while back," the show's executive producer, Michael Schur, told the magazine. "Leslie [Amy Poehler] and Andy [Chris Pratt] are trying to convince him to reunite for the big Unity Concert they are organizing to solidify the merger of Pawnee and Eagleton."

But things might not work out the way Leslie and Andy want them to. As it happens, Tweedy's character is still upset from Land Ho!'s breakup.

So far, special guests including Henry Winkler and Kristen Bell have appeared this season. But despite the star power, NBC put the show on a quiet hiatus last October. The final episodes to feature Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe aired earlier this year, and the way the plot has been going its future was not looking good. But despite fears that the show would be canceled, NBC's Bob Greenblatt said last month that a seventh season was in its future, according to Vulture.

In other good news for Parks and Rec fans, Poehler won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy in January. In celebration, she even grabbed U2 frontman Bono for an impromptu make-out session.
