Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have been approached to host next year's Golden Globe awards. The invitation comes following the success of this year's show, reports Deadline, which brought in more than 20 million viewers.
NBC and Dick Clark Productions are in discussions with Fey and Poehler about reprising their hosting stint, though each is busy with other projects. Fey and her 30 Rock collaborator Robert Carlock will executive produce a new sitcom for NBC, while Poehler remains busy starring in and producing Parks and Recreation.
Representatives from Fey and Poehler have yet to comment.
