After a cameo in 2009's Hannah Montana: The Movie and a costarring role in last year's ensemble rom-com Valentine's Day, the 21-year-old singer has joined the cast of Universal Pictures' 3-D animated film The Lorax.

The movie, based on the famous 1971 Dr. Seuss children's book about preserving the environment, is scheduled for release on March 2, 2012.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Zac Efron will voice Ted, the young boy who seeks out the Lorax (played by Danny DeVito). Swift -- who's a four-time nominee at the Academy of Country Music Awards (including fan-voted Entertainer of the Year) -- will play Ted's love interest, Audrey.
