James Bond is making up for lost time at this year's Oscars. Shirley Bassey, singer of the theme songs to Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker, will perform at 85th Academy Awards on February 24th, Reuters reports. It will be her first appearance at the Oscars.
Dame Shirley is a fitting addition to this year's festivities: Though the Academy has historically turned a blind eyed toward the James Bond franchise, this year's ceremony features a tribute to MI6's finest agent, and Adele will perform her Oscar-nominated theme from the latest Bond movie, last year's Skyfall.
