Michael J. Fox is reportedly working on a single-camera comedy with director Will Gluck and writer Sam Laybourne, and networks are salivating in anticipation over the project, according to Vulture. Details are scarce, but reports say the show is inspired by Fox's life and is being developed by Sony Pictures Television for 2013. Sources say the show will get at least an automatic commitment for pilot production, and there's talk of one network mulling a rare straight-to-series offer.
Fox, who had memorable TV roles on NBC's Family Ties and ABC's Spin City , most recently appeared on CBS, earning an Emmy nod for his guest stint on The Good Wife.
