NBC has renewed Last Call with Carson Daly for another year, putting to rest brief speculation that Alec Baldwin was set to take over the network's 1:35 a.m. slot, Deadline Hollywood reports.

"I love coming to work every day and having the opportunity to collaborate with this incredible team," Daly said in a statement. "We are always looking to give viewers something new and fresh that they can't find anywhere else on television. I'm grateful to have the chance to continue doing what I love the most."

The show began in 2002 and the news of its 13th season comes after NBC's official announcement that Late Night host Jimmy Fallon would take over The Tonight Show from Jay Leno in 2014, moving the late-night institution back to New York City as well.
