MTV Aims to 'Restore the Shore' With Hurricane Benefit

'Jersey Shore' cast to raise money for devastated area

MTV has teamed with Architecture for Humanity for a live benefit special to help raise funds to rebuild areas of the Jersey Shore that were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. "Restore the Shore" will air live on November 15th at 11 p.m. EST, and will feature cast members of Jersey Shore with other guests to be announced. "Restore the Shore" hopes to collect donations and direct the money to rebuild the Seaside Heights boardwalk and other restoration efforts in the area. Viewers will be able to interact and donate online and through mobile phones. Additional details will be announced soon.
