Mark and Donnie Wahlberg are opening a new burger restaurant with their older brother Paul called Wahlburgers, which is, of course, the best possible name for a burger restaurant owned by the Wahlbergs. The brothers had to go out of their way to secure the name, which had been previously trademarked, but have since acquired "full spectrum" rights to the name.
Wahlburgers is set to open at the Hingham Shipyard outside the brothers' native Boston, close to their Italian restaurant, Alma Nove. Paul Wahlberg will serve full-time as the restaurant's chef. The brothers have plans to open a pizza restaurant next year, though it seems unlikely that they will come up with a similarly amusing name for that establishment.
