Kristen Wiig Officially Joins 'Anchorman' Sequel
Wiig and Ferrell are already set to appear in Anchorman: The Legend Continues, which is due later this year under the direction of Adam McKay. His wife, Shira Piven, is set to direct Welcom to Me, which tells the story of a woman with dissociative personality disorder who wins the lottery and spends her loot creating a cable access talk show about her life. McKay and Ferrell are co-producing Welcome, which Eliot Laurence wrote.
Along with the Anchorman sequel, Wiig's kept busy since her departure from Saturday Night Live, having recently wrapped five other movies: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Despicable Me 2, Girl Most Likely, The Skeleton Twins and Hateship, Loveship.
