Kim Gordon will appear in an episode of Girls next season, the former Sonic Youth bassist said during an interview with Slate.

Gordon didn't offer any details about the role she'd be playing or when the episode she appears in will air. This isn't Gordon's first time appearing on a hit young adult show: A few years back, she and the rest of Sonic Youth made a cameo on Gossip Girl where they performed their song "Star Power."

While Girls won't return until next year, the show recently released a teaser clip with production stills from the HBO show's upcoming third season.

As for Gordon, her latest project, Body/Head, a noise outfit with guitarist Bill Nace, will release their debut album, Coming Apart, on September 10th on Matador Records.
