Jennifer Lopez is leaving her post as a judge on American Idol, according to E!. A source said that Lopez is "just too busy" for the show. Us Weekly also reported the news, with sources telling the magazine, "There is just too much going on for her right now."

Fox declined to comment to E!, though a source told the outlet, "Fox does not want to let her go. They love her."

Lopez has been a judge on Idol since 2010 and scored a $20 million payday to appear on the show's latest season. She's about to kick off a 20-city U.S. and Latin American tour this summer, which will conflict with Idol's auditions and pretaping.
