Glee star Cory Monteith has entered rehab to deal with an unspecified substance addiction. The 30-year-old actor, who plays Finn Hudson on the Fox series, voluntarily admitted himself for treatment, Us Weekly reports.

It's not the first time the Canadian actor has sought treatment. Monteith said in a 2011 interview with Parade that he had previously entered rehab for substance abuse when he was 19 after his family and friends staged an intervention. "I was done fighting myself," he recalled in 2011. "I finally said, 'I'm gonna start looking at my life and figure out why I'm doing this.'"
Lea Michele, Monteith's girlfriend and fellow Glee star, told People, "I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this . . . I am grateful and proud he made this decision."
