Glee Live! 3D!, a concert movie that will feature performances from the upcoming Glee Live! In Concert! tour, is set to hit theaters on August 12th. The movie is scheduled to run for only two weeks, and will include appearances by 14 cast members from the hit television series.

According to Glee creator Ryan Murphy, the movie is being made in part because the tour will be so brief. "Due to the limited time we had to travel during our hiatus, there were only so many cities we could get to before we had to resume work on the television series," Murphy told the Hollywood Reporter. "We knew that not every fan who wanted to attend a concert would get that opportunity."

The Glee Live! In Concert! North American tour will kick off at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on May 21st and will hit 15 cities before wrapping up with two shows at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York on June 18th.
