All 530 episodes of The Simpsons will be available to stream on the FX network's ad-supported "TV Everywhere" app, FXNow, starting this August, Uproxx reports.

The app will also feature programming from FX's various channels, including FXX and FXM, and will be available to those who subscribe to participating cable providers (currently including AT&T U-verse, Cablevision’s Optimum TV, Comcast, Suddenlink and WOW!). You'll also be able to access FXNow on various apps for iOS and Windows devices, plus Xbox One. Apps for Android, Xbox 360, Roku and Samsung will launch in the spring.

Find Out the Five 'Simpsons' Characters We Want Dead

The Simpsons streaming news comes as no surprise after the longest-running scripted show in TV history inked a massive syndication deal with FXX, the new spinoff network of FX. Called the "biggest off-network deal ever," estimates put the total cost of the transaction in the area of half a billion dollars, based on the $1 million per-episode industry standard for broadcast rights. In a press release, FX's COO and president of program strategy Chuck Saftler said, "Woo hoo!"

FXX will begin broadcasting Simpsons episodes in August as well. While new episodes will continue to air on the show's original network, Fox, FXX will add the current 25th season when the 26th begins in September. One future episode will be based on a script written by Judd Apatow over 20 years ago, in which Homer is hypnotized into thinking he's a 10-year-old boy.

Last October, The Simpsons was renewed for a 26th season, though soon after the show had to bid farewell to beloved, cantankerous fourth-grade teacher Edna Krabappel following the death of voice actress Marcia Wallace. While The Simpsons was planning to kill off a long-running character, producer Al Jean noted that such a fate was not intended for Mrs. Krabappel.
