Conan O'Brien will host this year's White House Correspondents' Association dinner, where President Barack Obama will mingle with Washington journalists on April 27th. Fox News correspondent Ed Henry, the association's president, made the announcement on Twitter.
This won't be O'Brien's second time hosting the event – the Conan host took the reins at the 1995 correspondents dinner with then-President Bill Clinton. O'Brien is already having some fun with his upcoming gig. "I'm honored to host the WH Correspondents dinner. Get ready for two minutes of jokes, then 40 minutes on public employee pension reform," he tweeted today. The previously enthusiastic Henry replied with a retweet, adding, "Um, wait."
